The New Apostolic Reformation wears a facade of criticizing the Government when it was criticizing the church. The Seven Mountains Mandate is a declaration that for two thousand years The Church has acted with rebellious indifference to God’s will. That we have failed to do the good work which God has set out for us.
“When the Church abdicates its God-appointed position, our rightful place gets usurped and the airwaves are filled with unhealthy influence.” (King)

“As long as the church thinks the purpose of the great commission is anything less than penetrating and occupying the mind molders of the nations in order to bring about a sustained influence that shapes the culture, we are asleep.” (Wallnau)

The NAR is not unique in this. Ultimately Christian nationalism, no matter what form it takes, is an attack on God’s church. If the founding fathers intended this to be a Christian Nation with the Church having authority over the Government then any of the suffering of the American People is the fault of The Church. When a child acts out do you not look to the parents to discipline them? If by taking up positions of civil authority and running the government on Christian Values we can bring about prosperity. Then are the poor, the hungry, and the suffering masses not a direct result of The Churches Passivity? All authority on heaven and earth belongs to God, he chooses to give that authority to whoever he pleases. That authority can not be taken unless God himself takes it back. If the earthly authority is rightfully the church then there is no “reclaiming” it simply belongs to the church who has utterly failed and neglected in exercising that authority.

If you take nothing else away from this book, remember this. Do not be critical of Christ’s Church for she is His Bride and She is pure and holy because He has made her so. (Ephesians 5:25 – 27) He loves her and is jealous of her and will protect her. Those who slander her name will be denied entrance to the marriage supper of the lamb.

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:16 – 20)

This is The great commission, the good work with which God has entrusted the Church. The Mission is twofold: To evangelize and spread the good news of the Gospel so that the people of God may be welcomed into the Church(the kingdom), and maintain the proper corporate worship of God by his people (The Temple). The new covenant extends to people of all walks of life and this is a reason to celebrate! And we should shout this good news to the skies that Christ has risen and will come again. When he returns people from all walks of life will join him in the kingdom of God. ( Revelation 7:9)  So they can worship and cherish Him for all eternity.

This is how God commands us to evangelize, not by taking positions of power so we may shape the hearts of the nations, but by bearing witness. “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” (Acts 1:8) Christ commands us to make disciples of all nations by giving witness to the gospel. We can not chain ourselves to the cultures and traditions of this age as the Pharisees did. We must remember that while we remain in this creation we have been made separate by Christ. Sinners gather and organize by common tongues and ancestry, building cities, forming nations, and anointing kings to rule over them. Instead we are blessed our king builds his kingdom for us first and then gathers his people into it.

This mission God has given us, he gives it not out of necessity or as a burden but as a blessing. The good works Christ has entrusted his bride with are a wedding gift for which we should be grateful and sing God’s praise. The same could be said for all the labors of this life as all work is a blessing from God which we should praise him for. We also must remind ourselves that the building of the kingdom is not work we have been tasked to perform, nor is it something we can contribute to in any way. It is God who brings about his kingdom, and all glory will be God as he changes the hearts of men so that they may love and fear and cherish him.

Just as no Labor can bring about God’s kingdom of Salvation no amount of labor can earn us God’s favor or earthly blessings. For there is no good pleasurable thing in creation which is not a blessing from God. Nothing Is guaranteed except salvation and citizenship in the kingdom which is promised to us by the grace of God through the crucifixion of his only son Jesus Christ. This extends to evangelism. Yes, even in performing the good works God has entrusted his church with we are told to expect failure. Indeed many bear witness to God’s truth all the days of their life only for that witness to continuously fall on deaf ears. Nonetheless they share their graves with heads held high for they know they will soon hear those blessed and wonderful words “Well done my good and faithful servant”
