He goes on to say he doesn’t believe in Heaven or Hell, but the dead “go somewhere”.

2015:

(3) At the Family Leadership Summit, Frank Luntz asks Trump about whether or not he has repented before God. To which Trump has responded:

“I’m not sure I have. I just go and try to do a better job from there. I don’t think so. I think if I do something wrong, I think I just try and make it right. I don’t bring God into that picture. I don’t.”

(4)Trump also said his favorite book is the bible. When asked to give a favorite verse, he didn’t give an answer, saying it was “very personal”

“When faith gets weaker, our country seems to get weaker. When faith gets stronger… good things happen for our country. It’s amazing the way it seems to work that way. Under the Trump Administration, we’re defending our rights and restoring our identity as a nation under God. We are One Nation Under God — and we always will be.”

Donald Trump has also repeatedly expressed concern that he isn’t getting into heaven over the past couple of months.

(10) “I think I’m not, maybe, heaven-bound. I may be in heaven right now as we fly in Air Force One.”

(11) “I mean, I’m being a little cute. I don’t think there’s anything going to get me in heaven, (…) I think I’m not maybe heaven-bound … I’m not sure I’m going to be able to make heaven, but I’ve made life a lot better for a lot of people.”

Is Donald Trump a Christian?

If we look at these facts Trumps faith has been volatile and inconsistent at best. There are a couple of key details that we need to pay attention to:

  • He does not and has never repented for his sins.
  • The most recent record I could find he says he isn’t a Christian
  • He seems to believe that one can earn there way into heaven by being a “good person”

Going off of these key details, I think it is clear that no, Donald Trump is not a Christian. He will spend an eternity in Hell if he doesn’t repent from his sins, bowing before God the Son, Jesus Christ, the maker of heaven and earth. So let us pray that our President may find Salvation.
